This has to be one of the worst things I have ever heard. Dogs are domesticated creature which in the wild would eat mostly all meat. I would guarantee that your dog, if given the choice between your vegan slop and a hunk raw chicken backbone, would take the meat every time. Get a clue and dont force your beliefs on a creature that has no choice but to take what its given. Your neglect of your animals needs are abuse.

A “100 Mile Diet” question: Where do Chia seeds come from, where R they native to? Being bald I agree it’s a worthwhile food given all the potential benefits Michelle listed. Then I know this 100 Mile reality is a tuff nut for us northerners 2 swallow. But it’s very important from both health & enviro perspectives. Our native/local foods keep in check how our climate extremes effect us. This is from TCM (Trad. Chin. Med). Then the waste of transport foods from far flung places=modern imperialism
